Tyranids list have varied to include various combinations of guns and combat to try to kill Imperial Knight.
In most games the Imperial Knight does little shooting, rushes into combat and dies and it's explosion kills whatever just killed it in combat (twice claiming Hive Tryants).
It has done litte to nothing shotting wise in any of the games. (Not surprising as melta cannon not exactly designed for nid killin.)
It is every survivable. Was worried about lower armor value. But shield and speed of Knight mean it only really has to turns of shooting to worry about before it's in hand to hand.
